There is a sacredness in tears. They are not a mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition and of unspeakable love.
– Washington Irving
I’ve not written in a while. Been going through some stuff. Stuff like choosing to heal, learning how to process pain and mostly just crying. Throughout this process I’ve been clinging desperately to Jesus . When I asked Him to show me what healing looks like, well, it ended up being a blog series called “The Sacredness of Tears”.
So I guess now I’d just like to share my journey with you. An ongoing journey of grieving and healing.
My good friend Faith took all the pictures included in this series. Faith is a fashionista who takes incredible risks, loves deeply and is head over heels in love with Jesus. Faith, thank you for speaking hard truths for being brave enough to tell me “I don’t know” and for always, always, leading me back to the Father.
