Today I am thrilled to showcase these wonderful works of art. My three cousins from home crafted homemade cards and sent them to me for my birthday. Each card was uniquely made and I’m sure was a labor of love. The distance from the middle of Texas to the middle of California is, according to Google, 1,405.4 miles. Their love stretched all that way and made its way to the center of my heart. What a sweet reminder their cards were of how love can be expressed, felt, nurtured, and shared across seemingly impossible distances.
Thank you to everyone who read my blog this week, who commented, emailed, and shared this blog with others. Wherever you are know that you are loved with a perfect kind of love, if you’re hurting there is a healer. No matter where you are- no matter how far away your heart feels from healing, comfort, happiness, hope, or love- rest assured. No distance can ever separate you from love Himself.
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Dear World, I wish you a distance conquered by Love.
Have a lovely weekend and I will see you next week! Also, I would love to hear from you, if you would like to share your story, art, or just say, “Hi!”, email me! firstname.lastname@example.org
